So your traceback is pretty different, if I had to guess I'd say it's probably the same bug, but I'm not sure of that.

It's interesting that the other reports so far have all involved _read_info_file, but yours takes a completely different path (_buffer_all). It's convenient that you can reproduce this with a read-only operation, though.

I still have no idea what the problem is though. If you have time, could you capture the SFTP conversation (as seen by the bzr client talking its the openssh subprocess)? Or if you can reproduce it locally it might be interesting to capture from Conch's side.
