Well, something is seriously wrong if we are asking for 1,714,499,681 bytes from _read_info_file.

However, this looks a lot more like we are reading the indexes, etc. Which is valid. I'm still a bit surprised to see a 1.7GB request. Is that at all valid for the size of project you are working with?
