Comment 22 for bug 246880

There are several things to do here:
 *) recover the casper data
 *) fix 'check' to report this as errors
 *) fix 'fetch' to preserve the referenced data

On the first point I'm creating a script to regenerate the inventories and texts to be consistent with the available history.
