Hiya, thanks for the information!

Can you tell me what version of Byobu you were running when you reproduced this?

Scott Moser recently did some work, removing hundreds of shell forks from Byobu. We did some performance testing and Byobu's performance improved several times over.

Could you try to perhaps reproduce this with the latest Byobu? I'll also test it in a VM and load that VM with lots of users. Thanks!!!
