Bug Description
Binary package hint: partitionmanager
I wanted to partition my USB drive, but there's no graphical partition manager in Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx (bug #568993). Google suggested "QtParted" or "KDE Partition Manager'. But I couldn't find either in KPackageKit.
It turns out the "partitionmanager" package is actually KDE Partition Manager. But that's hella confusing. In KPackageKit, its title is "A partition management utility". There's no indication that this is actually what the rest of the Internet calls "KDE Partition Manager", it doesn't even indicate that it's a graphical utility (as opposed to command-line). Even clicking Description doesn't mention "KDE" until you scroll down to the last paragraph. Compare with the title and description for gparted.
To fix:
* Change the package title to "KDE partition management utility".
* Change the package description to something like "Partition manager is a graphical utility to help you manage the disk devices, partitions and file systems on your computer. It allows you to easily create, copy, move, delete, resize without losing data, backup and restore partitions. It uses the KDE libraries for its user interface.
..."
Nowadays the description has changed, it's much better, though it says "is a utility", and (as suggested) saying "is a graphical utility" gives a much clearer idea for people.
