Bug Description

My phone is a Kyocera Tempo. The last time I know this worked was in K/Ubuntu 7. I assumed I was doing something wrong, but finally decided to do some digging. lsusb reports the phone is connected:

Bus 002 Device 011: ID 0c88:1000 Kyocera Wireless Corp.

dmesg gives an error consistently (see below). Phone and cable work fine in MS Windows (but what fun is that!) This is my first bug report, so please let me know if there is something I should be doing differently. (I'd like be as helpful as possible.)

Thanks in advance!

Hi weston,

If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.

Thanks in advance.

Download full text (8.7 KiB)

Thank you. I will try this, unfortunately I dropped my laptop and it will
require some soldering first.
