Bug Description

In Ubuntu (Lucid), I can count at least four different namings of the 'Trash' directory: Wastebasket, Trash, Deleted Items and Garbage bin. This is quite visibly inconsistent and looks a little unprofessional. Please see the attached screenshot for locations of these namings.

Looks like a localization issue because it's consistently called "Trash" on my en_US system. What locale are you using?

I'll test en-US and see if it works like yours does (with Trash consistently).

No! Even when I changed the locale to en-US (making sure the LANG and LANGUAGE vars were correct) and rebooted, the inconsistencies were still there. I'll check to see that my locale packages are correctly installed, but so far it looks like all of English has this problem.

All the related en, en-gb and en-au packages were installed correctly.

Grepping en_AU shows references to both "Garbage Bin" and "Trash" but not in en_GB, so that indicates an issue with translations. Setting ubuntu task to "invalid" until we can get a report from language team. Thanks.

Is this still a problem in the current stable release? If not, could you please mark it as Fix Released?

Thanks!
