Bug Description

I just wanted to install gdecrypt which failed because of a dependency on python-gnome2-extras. This package in turn is uninstallable due to the following broken dependencies Synaptic told me:

python-gnome2-extras:

This is a gdecrypt bug. python-gnome2-extras has gone in Lucid, and has been split in to smaller packages. gdecrypt needs rebuilding with updated dependencies

---------------
gdecrypt (0.7.2.2-0ubuntu4) lucid; urgency=low

The miro 3.0-0pcf1 package from their official Ubuntu repository also fails to install because of a dependency to python-gnome2-extras. Is there any chance to update this dummy package with correct dependencies for Lucid?

The version of Miro shipped in our official repository installs just fine. 3.0-0pcf1 isn't a version supported by Ubuntu, and there's absolutely nothing we can do about it. If the version you are using is not installable, then you need to contact the vendor of the particular version you are using
