Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Setup for UbuntuOne is Manual mode.
I have reinstalled all Ubuntu One packages from Synaptic and added the command line tools as well, before this bug.
I previously reported bug #502717 "UbuntuOne crashes during copying of large volume of files between USB flash and disk drive".
Ubuntu One will not connect after those problems. Had to restart computer.

Contrary to what I said, and contrary to the other bug reported, after launching UbuntuOne once again during the same session, it reconnects automatically and starts sync files update.
I have 15 GB of new files and updates to upload. Will see the outcome... later on.
Note: Nautilus doesn't seem to know the sync is on, as the "connect" button is displayed when viewing the Ubuntu One directory. I have decided not to touch any button or icon in relation with Ubuntu One before the sync is done (or crashes...). Wait and see...

8 hours later, nothing to see on U1 side really..
From the system monitor I can see that CPU has been under constant load 80-100% during all that time.
Process ubuntuone-syncdaemon is taking 90-100% of CPU (2).
Network traffic close to nothing.
RAM usage 68%, 1.3 GB / 2 GB. Swap file 0.5% of 5 GB.
This is an Atom based netbook running Karmic unr.
I am going to stop the game and restart the system.

Hi,

Looking at the logs, you'r hitting the same bug as in Bug #502717 basically non-valid utf-8 file names.

I'm marking this as a duplicate of Bug #368626

Thanks.
