ubuntu one does not upload

Hi,

First, I know we've been chasing some bugs you've been experiencing over a decent period of time. Thank you for sticking with us and continuing to file these bug reports!

It's hard to say what the exact cause of the problem is based on the logs. I know that during this time, we were making some upgrades to the servers that may have been causing the problem. Are you still having problems connecting? Has Ubuntu One been working for you at all? I'm concerned that we're (the Ubuntu One team) not getting to the bottom of the problems you're experiencing. If it's server related, then I can tell you that we've made significant upgrades that will help eliminate the issues. With that said, I 'd like to know if Ubuntu One has ever really worked properly for you or if you've been experiencing various problems with never seeing success.

I am having this or a very similar problem. Ubuntu One does not upload any files. When I check in the web page, the directory structure is created, but all the directories are empty. The Ubuntu One client says that it is updating the files, but there is no network activity at all.

Can anyone please explain me how to upload the logs or any other thing than can help to understand this problem?

yes just right click on the desktop applet and choose report a problem but i
think you need another piece of software installed if your not running
karmic if your not it's well worth the upgrade i upgraded the first day and
ubuntu one started working right away.Good luck

Sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working, please file a new bug and attach the file created by this command (in a terminal):

tar -cjf ~/Desktop/ubuntuone-logs.tar.bz2 ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log
