Bug Description

Binary package hint: ifscheme

The ifscheme script writes the scheme to /etc/network/scheme, but ifscheme-mapping looks in /etc/network/run/scheme.

This bug has already been reported for Gutsy (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ifscheme/+bug/160585), but is still present in my Jaunty installation, package version 1.7-2ubuntu1. I don't think that the package would be hard to fix and it would be nice if Ubuntu could ship a working ifscheme, even though it is only in universe!

This bug was fixed in the package ifscheme - 1.7-2.1ubuntu1

---------------
ifscheme (1.7-2.1ubuntu1) karmic; urgency=low

  * Merge from debian unstable, remaining changes: LP: #399136
    - Corrected new ifstate and scheme location
  * Change /etc/network/run/scheme > /etc/network/scheme in
    ifscheme-mapping also closes LP: #160585, LP: #376641(Hopefully)
