Bug Description

Please merge libmatthew-java 0.7.2-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main).

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
Previous upstream source code changes are in upstream already.
New upstream version fixes some runtime exception, see LP: #218658, LP: #360880 for details.

Changelog since current karmic version 0.7.1-1ubuntu1:

libmatthew-java (0.7.2-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New Upstream Release
  * Bump Standards-Version
  * Bump debhelper compat
  * Change to section java

Hum... is it a merge or a sync now?

The debdiff you attach here does not list all the changes that are still necessary in the upload (debian/changelog) - could you document that a bit better?

  * Merge from debian unstable (LP: #371518), remaining changes:
    - debian/control: Remove unneeded build dependency classpath-doc.
    - Makefile: Add -D_GNU_SOURCE compiler flag and remove -Werror.
  * New Upstream Release:
   - build with -fno-stack-protector compiler flag fixes LP: #218658 and LP: #360880
