Bug Description

I did a system update/upgrade about 30 mintues ago and the upgrade of ubuntu-artwork failed. the message I got was:

Setting up ubuntu-artwork (8) ...
update-alternatives: unable to make /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme.dpkg-tmp a symlink to /etc/alternatives/x-cursor-theme: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing ubuntu-artwork (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Errors were encountered while processing:
 ubuntu-artwork
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I have Xcursor selector installed, maybe it has something to do with it.

Changed in ubuntu-artwork:
status: Unconfirmed → Rejected

For the time beeing you can work around this bug by creating the directory "/usr/share/icons/default" manually with root privileges

Thanks for the workaround, Gerrit, seems like the bug was fixed already. Good job.
