Bug Description
When running a live image using linux-imx51 2.6.28.11.13, and performing an install from an SD card to a USB drive, /var/log/kern.log and /var/log/messages filled the available space on the filesystem prior to the completion of the install. Most of this appeared to be usb_storage debug information.
I don't currently have network access from the affected machine: please advise if there are specific files that would be useful to collect. Note that kern.log is well in excess of 70MB, so I'm doubtful that it is useful in its entirety.

For the beta image the syslog patch below was applied manually to the imx51 image to overcome the huge logs, but indeed it isnt solved on the kernel layer and occasionally causes lockups of the device. cdimage. ubuntu. com/releases/ jaunty/ beta/syslog. diff
To get proper syslog messages for tracking down the issue, please unapply the patch manually and restart klogd and syslogd.
