evolution mail to task crashes

You don't want to use apport to report your bug do you? That would make easier to know what versions you are running exactly, etc

This is occurring for myself also, after recommended update of Evolution.

could you install evolution-dbg evolution-data-server-dbg and libical0-dbg and get a new log?

Valgrind log is attached with evolution-dbg evolution-data-server-dbg. There is no libical0-dbg.

thank you for the debug log, there is a libical0-dbgsym on the ddeb source but the current log should be enough

the bug has been fixed upstream now

Is there a specific patch I need to download, or should I wait for a
fix from the repos?

This bug was fixed in the package evolution - 2.26.0-0ubuntu3
