Looks like a glibc crash according to the backtrace.

I would think this is a thread failure. While the crash is in glibc, I think the fault is likely with the caller of the threading goo.

Fair enough. If we knew how the crash happened I'd feel comfortable forwarding this upstream.

@ Baq Could you explain in English what you were doing when this crash happened?
