Bug Description

Binary package hint: webcpp

Please sync webcpp 0.8.4-6 (universe) from Debian unstable (main).

Both patches applied in the Ubuntu package have been applied in the Debian package, so the Ubuntu package can be synced.

 webcpp (0.8.4-6) unstable; urgency=low

   * New maintainer (Closes: #483485)
   * Correct off-by-one error which stops Python keywords being coloured
     (Patch: Thanassis Tsiodras) (Closes: #493131)
   * Standards version 3.8.0.
   * Add debian/README.source to comply with policy
   * Use debhelper 7 and shorten debian/rules accordingly
   * Use dh_links for symlinking manuals, not do it manually
   * Patch Makefile.in with 05_makefile_docdir to put html docs in the right
     place, not do it manually in debian/rules

Nick: looks good.

Nathan: can we forward 05_gcc4.3_fix.dpatch to Upstream and/or Debian? What about 04_engine.cpp_typo.dpatch? It looks like a lot of whitespace changes.

Hi Nick

I have adopted webcpp in debian/unstable and I planned to contact you in any case for this merge. Please open a debian bug against it and I will merge the branches ASAP for you.

Regards,

Jonathan

On closer inspection, both these patches already exist in the Debian
package, therefore it just needs to be pulled into Ubuntu.

Hi,

I'm converting this to a sync as it looks like the changes can be dropped. The build log is attached.

Thanks,
Nick

Jonathan, Nick: which patch is included where? I can not see the added stdlib.h include, nor do I see the typo fixes in the Debian package.

Your patch "Fixes minor typo" is included in
debian/patches/01_gcc41_patch.dpatch
Your patch "Adds #include <studlib.h>" is fixed in
debian/patches/02_gcc43_patch.dpatch
