The list of available drivers is too narrow

Bug Description

Binary package hint: jockey-gtk

The list of available drivers is too narrow, so when you have three or more available drivers in the list, it's very uncomfortable to navigate through them. Moreover, the vertical scroll bar displayed at the right is very small and unusable.

I propose to increase the height of the list, reducing the size of the informational panel below.

Note that you can move the slider you marked, so you can change the ratio between the driver list and info window.

But I agree, if there are more than 3 drivers the list should be enlarged.

jockey (0.5~beta3-0ubuntu9) jaunty; urgency=low

  * Merge from trunk:
    - jockey-gtk: Enlarge driver list if there are more than 3 available
      drivers. (LP: #291028)
    - ui.py: If an activated driver has a package, label the action "Remove",
      not "Deactivate". (LP: #284435)
    - Update German translations.
  * backend/com.ubuntu.DeviceDriver.service: Write debug log to
    /var/log/jockey.log by default when starting the backend. (LP: #290036)
  * Add debian/jockey-common.logrotate for rotating jockey.log.
  * data/handlers/broadcom_wl.py: If b44 is loaded, don't disable the entire
    handler, but instead install a "wl" modprobe handler which removes ssb and
    b44 first, then loads wl, and reloads b44 again, which makes both devices
    work. (LP: #289845)

The bug seems not fixed for me in Jaunty Beta. The third driver in the list is almost invisible. I attach an screenshot to illustrate it.

Indeed it works correctly for more than 3 drivers, but it still looks ugly if there are exactly 3 drivers.

jockey (0.5-0ubuntu7) jaunty; urgency=low

  * Add support for unannounced drivers, i. e. drivers which do not cause
    --check to report newly available drivers. This is a prerequisite for
    LP #346078. (Cherrypicked from trunk.)
  * data/handlers/madwifi.py: Only announce this driver through --check if
    ath5k is not loaded. (LP: #346078)
  * debian/control: Add alternative policykit-{gnome,kde} dependencies, to
    make it possible to install -kde on GNOME or -gnome on KDE.
  * jockey-gtk: Improve default height of driver list VPane, depending on
    number of available drivers. (Cherrypicked from trunk) (LP: #291028)
