glyphface theme broken

Bug Description

The glyphface theme is broken in release and trunk. The head can be changed but nothing else. When viewing a SVG of the output, all added elements can be viewed way off the canvas, suggesting some kind of positioning bug. Load the attached file in Inkscape to see what I mean.

Sadly this bug hasn't been fixed yet. I'm uploading a debdiff to remove glyphface from memaker in Ubuntu. Hopefully it can return for Jaunty.

The problem is that most of the elements of that theme are made from text elements. Once you convert them to paths, they work fine.

I can either convert them all to text, or we can try to find out the problem that is causing this. I think that is the better way, however I don't have anytime to research this, could someone else take a look.

PS: It might be the way that the text svg tag positions things?
