Bug Description
Binary package hint: debian-installer
With the current 20080813.1 alternate kubuntu i386 CD, debian installer fails after installing the base system.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Choose manual partitioning and select a partition as / folder (formatting)
2) It installs the base system correctly and creates the main user correctly
3) When installing the additional software it fails when trying to install libxine1-ffmpeg:

Aug 13 16:14:08 in-target: libxine1-ffmpeg: Depends: libavcodec51 (>= 3:0.svn20080206-8) but it is not installable or

Seems my attempt to fix this from this morning is insufficient:
xine-lib (1.1.14-1ubuntu2) intrepid; urgency=low
* libxine1 dependencies: Prefer libxine1- misc-plugins over libxine1-plugins,
since the latter pulls in -ffmpeg, whic pulls in libavcodec51, which is
banned from CDs. This unbreaks Kubuntu CDs for Alpha 4, although is not
the final solution we might want.
