There are the remainding two log files (one was empty) i must admit it was kinda annoying only being able to upload one file at the time. Or did i miss something?

Here is what caused the error:

2008-08-06 19:00:35,600 ERROR got an error from dpkg for pkg: 'linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-15-generic': 'subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 1

dpkg: error processing linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-15-generic (--remove):

I reassign to initramfs-tool. This looks pretty stange, why would update-initramfs want to generate modules for i2.6.22-15-generic if that just got removed?

The 18 month support period for Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 has reached its end of life -

linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22 task. It would be helpful if you could test the
new Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 release and confirm if this issue remains -
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/releasenotes/904overview. If the issue still exists with the Jaunty
release, please update this report by changing the Status of the "linux (Ubuntu)"
task from "Incomplete" to "New". Thanks in advance.

This is a problem with initramfs-tools (see commment #7). I close the update-manager task, it is just the messenger.

This isn't a dpkg issue. Gerry C - please stop adding random tasks to bugs for no reason, and assigning them to people without asking them first. It is really quite rude to do that, and we don't have time to go around and revert all the changes you are making.

This bug related to the LUM package which no longer exists in any current release's kernel package. I am therefore going to close this out as stale.
