[hardy] update manager could not install 'iceape-mailnews'

This is happening because iceape was removed from Hardy repos,

Can you please attach the 3 files found in /var/log/dist-upgrade to this bug so i can see exact errors

iceape-dev - dummy upgrade package for SeaMonkey SDK
iceape-dom-inspector - dummy upgrade package for the DOM Inspector for the SeaMonkey Internet Suite
iceape-gnome-support - dummy upgrade package for SeaMonkey Gnome Support
iceape-mailnews - dummy upgrade package for SeaMonkey Mail & Newsgroups and Address Book

they are all there so logs will be needed to investigate further

Status in "iceape" source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: update-manager

update from 7.10 to 8.04. upgrade manager reports error:
could not install 'iceape-mailnews'
subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 127

It appears that this package was removed way back in Hardy. Closing related bugs.
