pycentral crashed with OSError in prepare()

This crash has the same stack trace characteristics as bug #194305. However, the latter was already fixed in an earlier package version than the one in this report. This might be a regression or because the problem is in a dependent package.

which version of python-kde4 is installed on the system (before starting the upgrade)?

I'm currently running 4.0.2-0ubuntu1 according to dpkg -l.
The version it's trying to upgrade to is 4.0.2-1-1ubuntu3. Still no luck with this version.

There's bug 210168 for the bzrtools issue

The stacktrace in bug 210168 and in http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12654666/Traceback.txt (this bug) is the same.

This bug was fixed in the package python-central - 0.6.1ubuntu2
