Bug Description

SRU Justification

[Impact]

ms_hyperv_init_platform() hides HV_MSR_REFERENCE_TSC_AVAILABLE for TDX guests in favor of Invariant-TSC. In this case, we should also downgrade the rating of hyperv_cs_msr.rating, so Invariant-TSC can be used by default.

[Fix]

https://github.com/dcui/tdx.git 367f18c06ac999c2822b0c24f50a87994635d4bd

[Where things could go wrong]

TDX guests may perform worse.

This bug is awaiting verification that the linux-azure/5.19.0-1021.22 kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-kinetic' to 'verification-done-kinetic'. If the problem still exists, change the tag 'verification-needed-kinetic' to 'verification-failed-kinetic'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you!
