Documentation Error: IP Masquerading

Bug Description

This is in regards to the documentation located at:

https://help.ubuntu.com/7.10/server/C/ip-masquerading.html

There is apparently a bug in 7.10 in which you need an additional few steps to enable IP Masquerading.

In addition to modifying the iptables, you also need to edit the "/etc/sysctl.conf" file and add the following lines :

net.ipv4.conf.default.forwarding=1
net.ipv4.conf.all.forwarding=1

Enabling forwarding in "/etc/sysctl.conf" has been added to the Hardy branch with commit 3659. The Firewall section has been updated documenting the new UFW utility as well.
