Bug Description
When I install XMMS, there was no such dep about libmikmod going along. So I run
XMMS and had this:
root@MOJO:
Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
libmikmod.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/
_dl_next_tls_modid: Assertion `result <= _rtld_local.

solution seems to be:

quote:
Installing libmikmod2 solved it for me (I'm running Debian sarge with a 2.6
kernel). I was getting the same error:
libmikmod.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory generic/ dl-tls. c: 72: _dl_tls_ max_dtv_ idx' failed!
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/
_dl_next_tls_modid: Assertion `result <= _rtld_local.
I spent some time on this. Trying to recompile it didn't work either
