All builds are complete, packages in this bug can be copied to -proposed.

Derivative packages from packages here can be worked on, the following tracking bugs were opened for them:

Copied to -proposed. As this is a small change that we intend to fast-track, the usual round of rigorous QA is probably not required, but please do test the binaries to make sure that:

1) They fix the bug
2
) They aren't miscompiled/broken

Andy has tested this kernel and verified that it works as intended.

I have booted this kernel on two systems. One is my main desktop and the other is my home mail server. The kernel is working well on both.

This kernel has now been booted on a wide variety of bare-metal and virtual systems and no regressions have been found. These are more than boot tests as some of these systems are developers desktop systems or other server systems.

This is a trivial patch with no chance of regression. Certification is not necessary.

The verification of this Stable Release Update has completed successfully and the package has now been released to -updates. Subsequently, the Ubuntu Stable Release Updates Team is being unsubscribed and will not receive messages about this bug report. In the event that you encounter a regression using the package from -updates please report a new bug using ubuntu-bug and tag the bug report regression-update so we can easily find any regresssions.
