Yes, and the default font size should be set to match the screen resolution, as is the practice in many other desktop environments.

Note that even on Windows that completely ignore actual screen DPI the system integrators do preset the font scaling factor to approximately match the actual DPI.

You just set them intentionally to the wrong value. Thank you very much.
