Dear Charlie,
Is it reproducible? I do not know, all my three machines exhibit the symptom, but two of those are clones of the first one.
If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug? As an update from 10.04 to 10.10 did not work for me this time round I did a clean install. And since then I see the symptom.
I will do some additional testing.
