I've put a fixed build of resolvconf for maverick on https://launchpad.net/~jk/+archive/ubuntu-fixes (ppa:jk/ubuntu-fixes)

The package contains the changes made by Simon Huerlimann and Sander van Grieken.
Source code is available via above PPA and https://code.launchpad.net/~jk/ubuntu/maverick/resolvconf/upstart
