Well with the -K not working it kind of locks up the client system. I was not able to click on the menu or switch to another desktop. As a result in order to get back to the client I have to interact with the server which may or may not go away nicely.
Not really functional for my uses. So the work around I have been employing is to fall back to a version that works for my use case.
