Following is the original bug I had created and found out it was this patch that introduced since using deb without this patch everything worked correctly.
I am using standard En keyboard layout. The issue I have seen is this patch basically broke all the non-asci keys, i.e. the arrow keys, home, insert, end, page up/down, ... were not working. If I remember correctly, even opening Notepad in remoted system and using arrow keys to navigate would do "weird" things.
