Comment 229 for bug 445849

When will this be committed to Lucid? I'm a bit frustrated that long term release is so far behind (I always thought that LTS meant that it was stable and but up to date...this fix has been out for several months now yet for those of us who want to stick with LTS we're stuck with high pitched 5.1 sound). Sorry, not trying to be unappreciative, my 10.10 system sounds great now but my stable LTS system still can't use 5.1 and I'm hesitant to upgrade it to 10.10 (it's a netbook version and I like 10.04 a lot more than the new Unity interface). Thanks in advance
