Tested the maverick-proposed packages with an Intel 82801I (ICH9 Family)
HD Audio Controller (rev 02), and this doesn't fix the bug for me.

Aactually, it seemed to get worse, as I heard the sound distortion even
when I set the volume back to 100% with all the channels locked
together.
