Looks like a mixture of Xorg (using nvidia) horror and either GNOME Power
Manager or DeviceKit-Power acting up. Could you do the following:
1. Kill gnome-power-manager (command: killall gnome-power-manager)
2. Run `gnome-power-manager --verbose` in a terminal, suspend and resume and
attach the output here.
That should tell us something regarding why your gnome-power-manager thinks
you're on battery when you resume.
