Please do reverse this. It is annoying and causes a lot of problems for users as we miss important IM messages and we have no idea when i missed it until after i have say finished a movie.

In ayatana Ml we were discussing this and DND mdoe solution was the best, though now the discussion regarding this is not happening.

So someone from the developer team of notify-osd please tell us what is the status?
