@Valentin: The upstream (Gnome) hasn't yet released network-manager 0.8.1. According to http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/NetworkManager/0.8/ the latest release is 0.8.0.999. It seems that upstream has some delay with their updates as the v.0.8.1 is shceduled for May 2010 (see http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/ReleaseProcess ). You are of course free to provide a patch by using upstream's svn/git or any other version control system.
