Sadly, I don't have a date for when this stopped working, nor do I know how to provide you with the correct information to fix it: provide me with questions and instructions and I will upload whatever logs are needed. In the meantime:

My 3G usb dongle does not get picked up by my machine running Lucid. It seems to get picked up if I reboot only if I leave it inserted. I have tested the dongle itself on another machine (also running Lucid) and that was fine. That machine was a Dell. Mine is a Lenovo Ideapad U350.
