I too followed Marko's workaround about a week ago except I changed the 16000 to 48000 as PESTY describes. I have not since had any issues with this error.

My Logitech webcam is:
$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 046d:081b Logitech, Inc. Webcam C310
