same here.
I have my Dell Studio XPS 16 using external monitor with laptop lid permanently closed. When I activate suspend from either menu or from sleep button on external keyboard, laptop sleeps but when it wakes, just blank and cannot do anything. HDD and wifi indicator lights start flickering like something is going on but both displays refuse to wake up.
