Comment 38 for bug 748994

As per a post I picked up while looking for answers to this disaster (I
consult to 4 different clients per week and NEED hibernate), I downloaded
and implemented kernel "2.6.35-020635-generic" (64bit).
Both Suspend and Hibernate work fine as long as you do not have an active
"Wireless" connection.
You have to turn the wireless connection off before you hibernate otherwise
it just hangs with a black screen and the fan going all the time.
Hope this helps other people who like me has to hibernate their laptop to
continue from one day to the next.
(Sadly I was at the point of convincing my one International client to
switch to Linux desktops globally when another silly thing like this made
them decide not to)
