I have also met this bug.

I have installed kubuntu 11.04 and found my cpu fan always running. It is always running at the same speed.

I tried to make my cpu 100% running, and my cpu temperature goes to 85C but the cpu fan is still running at that speed. It seems that the cpu fan runs at the speed between the fastest and stop, and never changes.
