Laurens: Going by the consensus of this thrad <https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/kernel-team/2011-April/015366.html> it seems kernel-team don't want to release a new kernel without good reason (with the natty release so soon). That said, seeing as this is a definite regression on previous kernels, is tracked upstream, and has a patch which is part of an upstream stable kernel I suppose we can hope that the relevant patch will get cherry-picked. Otherwise, the patch should be in the first SRU after the natty release. In the meanwhile, .debs of the mainline build are available <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds>
