i came to know this since i posted an issue here.

regarding system crashes.
I was a bit sure about crashes while playing video on browser or audio with banshee.
system suddenly crashed.
i did
tail -n 50 /var/log/messages [can be seen there in the post as user "bluepicaso"]
I'm using ubuntu 10.10
core 2duo
dell inspiron 1525
