Comment 89 for bug 715438

If anybody would like a workaround using wicd, then I recently helped somebody on the ubuntuforums http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=12164548&postcount=20 with this bug. With wicd you can manually set ap_scan=2 by editing a file. Hope it helps somebody!
