Tried another run through. This time no output to syslog file for that boot to 2.6.38-1

Since the syslog was cut of mid entry I thought it might be HD cache not written to disk before kernel crash. So through I'd try it again to see if got lucky and had more written to syslog. Looks like the 1st run through was the lucky one as all other boots to 2.6.38 give NO output to syslog.

Went back to original run through where I did get boot details logged and found that kern.log also had data logged which was again cut short:-
