If this system is certified for maverick, presumably suspend/resume worked at some point? If so, do we know a specific version of the kernel for which suspend/resume worked properly?

If we have a known-working kernel version then we can do a bisect to track down the commit that broke things for this machine. Even better if we know the first non-working kernel version.
