It just happened again (system was up for at least 24 hours).

One thing I noticed was that the backup just completed before the system froze. I also ran a web crawler and indexer, so my question is,

"Could the problem be I/O related"?

Again there is nothing in any of the logs; the system just stops responding.

I appreciate any suggestions on how to figure out what's going wrong.
