Comment 96 for bug 640100

I had no luck with 2.6.36. And I don't think it's related to sound activity. It even freezes with sound all muted. I'm sort of getting tired with this regression. From what I've read in the past days, a lot of people with very different hardware suffer from resume bugs. No idea if and how they are related but this is a really bad thing. Users with laptops/netbooks rely on suspend/hibernate.

I'm now running a 2.6.34 kernel from maverick, and it's working as expected - even with samsung-tools and samsung backlight. But not getting security and bug fixes via update makes me feel a little insecure.
