On my laptop, I noticed that the boot time seemed a little on the long side. When checking dmesg, I have also found that the file system remounted after a boot. So far I have used my laptop only on mains, but when disconnecting the mains, the same remount occurred as observed by other people here. I haven't experienced any hangs, but I never let my laptop suspend. I have Lucid on another partition and there are no log entries about remounts.
